Pablo A. Yescas is a professional musician, bass player, and music educator. His musical styles range from rock, pop, R&B, and funk to salsa, merengue, and samba making him a well-rounded musician. Since he was 16 years old he has performed in various settings such as clubs, social events, musicals, concerts, and recording sessions.

While studying at Berklee College of Music, he was under the tutelage of world-renowned bass teachers such as Oscar Stagnaro, Steve Bailey, and Artist in Residence Victor Wooten. As a session musician he has collaborated with producers Andrés Chano Guardado, Pepe Portilla, and the legendary George Massemburg.

He has performed alongside the Latin Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Ruben Rada and Latin Grammy Award Winner Alexander Acha as a sideman. He has also toured with independent artists Daniel Patiño Quintana and Alea.

Regarding musical theater, he has performed in various Broadway plays such as Legally Blonde the Musical, Les Misérables, The Adams Family, The Last Five Years, and others.

He is currently the bass player of Broadway’s musical Rent taking place at Mexico City at the Milan Theater.
